Learning in the Kitchen - Home Made Pancake

We have a family tradition which includes pancakes, made by Daddy every Sunday morning. Our children love pancakes and love helping Daddy make them. Over the years we have adjusted our pancake ingredients to reflect healthy eating choices.
One of the ingredients is orange juice. So we take the opportunity to juice our own oranges as this is a healthier choice but not necessary for our recipe.
Once we have our orange juice ready, we add it together with one egg and a cup of milk into a bowl. We like using oat milk for our recipe although any type of milk still works. We use an electric mixer to help our ingredients be smooth and not lumpy.

We then add in 1 tablespoon of LSA (Ground Linseed, Almond and Sunflower Seeds) and flour to our mixture and beat it further until it is smooth (top picture). We then let it stand for 10minutes before cooking our pancakes on a fry pan.
 
Our children enjoy choosing their own 'shapes' for their pancakes as well as what topping they would like to eat their pancakes with. Here is our pancake recipe so you can try it for yourself.
